Japan Women’s National Team – Result of the final game in the World League Round 2 (2013/ New Delhi)

   Japan Women’s National Team (World Rank 9th) won the final game with Malaysia (World Rank 22nd) by 4-0 in the World League Round 2.

   With the total result (3 wins, 2 draws, 13 points), Japan finished the 2nd in this league. On the other hand, a host country, India (World Rank 12nd) beat Russia (World Rank 20th) by 1-0 to win the championship in the league.

   Japan and India are qualified for the Round 3 that is held in Netherlands next June. Round 3 is positioned as the semifinal and that serves as the preliminary of the FIH World Cup (2014/Hague). The national teams over world rank 8th and 8 countries from Round 2 are trying to qualify for the World Cup to get the 6 spots.
