Women’s Hockey Japan League 2013 – 11st day result (5th section)

   We announce the 11st day result of the 5th section in Women’s Hockey Japan League 2013.

Women’s Japan League – Game Results

Game No.35 10:00  at Nara
 Yamanashi Gakuin CROWNING GLORIES – Glaxo Smith Kline

  • In the beginning of the game, both team showed their hard offense and defense.
  • 2nd & 19th min: Yamanashi got 2 PC chances, but could not make a goal.
  • 23rd min: Glaxo FW #5 Tsuchii passed from the 23 meter line to #10 Wakayanagi who was in the circle, and Wakayanagi made her hit-shot into the left bottom of the goal.
  • After that, the game went on as it was and the first half ended by 1-0.
  • In the second half, Yamanashi who wants to catch up, attacked with a speedy dribbling around MF #1 Tanaka, but it was blocked by Glaxo’s defense.
  • Glaxo, on the other hand, pressured Yamanashi at the front line, but could not get an additional goal due to Yamanashi GK #16 Ssaki’s fine save.
  • It was rather a seesaw game after that and Glaxo controlled the game and won Yamanashi by 1-0.
Game No.36 11:40  at Nara
Sony HC  Bravia Ladies – Tokai Gakuin University

  • Just after the beginning of the game: Sony FW #9 Kimu dribbled sharply past Tokai DF and shot a reversed-hit into the left bottom of the goal.
  • 8th min: Sony got a PC and the rebound was pushed by FW #9 Kim again into the net.
  • 20th & 21st min: Sony got 2 consecutive goals and dominated the game.
  • Tokai counterattacked, but could not get into Sony’s circle.
  • As Sony held a pace of the game, the first half ended by 4-0.
  • In the second half, Sony almost had a time to attack, but could not get an additional goal because of Tokai’s tenacious defense.
  • Tokai also counterattacked,but they were blocked by Sony’s DFs and the game ended.
  • Sony showed the difference in power and won the game by 4-0.

 

Game No.37 13:20  at Nara
Coca Cola West Red Sparks – Ritumeikan University Hollys

  • Just after the beginning of the game, Coca Cola FB #18 Ree dribbled along the end line and passed to FW #13 Kato. Kato made a reversed-shot into the right upper of the goal.
  • Ritumeikan FW made sharp dribbling and tried to get a goal, but could not get a goal.
  • After that, the game saw the two teams go back and forth at each other and the first half ended by 1-0.
  • 36th min: Coca Cola MF #11 Komazawa intercepted a ball in the circle and dribbled past GK and made a goal into the left bottom of the net.
  • 44th min: Coca Cola got a PC and FB#18 Ree’s well-directed pass was touched by MF #11 Komazawa into the net.
  • 51st & 56th min: Coca Cola made 2 consecutive goals to decide the game.
  • 59th min: Ritumeikan got a PC, but it was saved by GK #1 Yoshikawa.
  • Having the initiative in the game, Coca Cola won Ritumeikan by 5-0.

 

Game No.38 15:00  at Nara
Nanto Ginko SHOOTING STARS – Tenri University Bears

  • In the beginning, Nanto attacked aggressively and threatened Tenri’s goal,but could not score because of Tenri’s tenacious defense.
  • 27th min: Nanto FB #18 Kozakura’s pass made Tenri’s own goal.
  • After that, Nanto got the edge of the game and the first half ended by 1-0.
  • In the second half, the game went on with Nanto’s pace.
  • 41st min: Nanto FW #9 Nomura dribbled past Tenri’s defense in the circle and made a shot into the left bottom of the goal at 2-0.
  • Tenri also showed counterattack and quick passing, but they were blocked by Nanto’s defense.
  • 59th min: Nanto FB #3 Makabe shot and the rebound was hit by MF #8 Tameto into the left bottom of the goal to pull Tenri away.
  • Nanto controlled and won the game by 3-0.
