We announce the quarterfinal result of the playoff of 5th section in Men’s Hockey Japan League 2013.

Game No.67　11:00 at Gifu A Gifu Asahi Club (BLUE DEVILS) – Fukui Club

From the beginning, both team went back and forth each other.
23th min: Asahi got a PC and once they made a mistake, but #30 Kawabata who received a pass from #25 Takenaka, opened the score.
Fukui also attacked, but they were blocked by Asahi’s hard defense around #2 Momonari.
37th min : Fukui got a PC and #2 Tamekuni’s flick shot shock the net.
38th min : Fukui #10 Mitutani dribbled into the circle and made a reversed-shot to turn the game around.
41st min: Asahi #2 Momonari made a flick shot into the right bottom of the goal.
47th&50th min : Asahi #2 Momonari got 2 consecutive goals from PC to extend the lead by 2 goals.
Fukui attacked aggressively, but could not score. Finally, Asahi won the game by 2-0 to advance to the semifinal.

Game No.68　13:00 at Gifu A Ritumeikan University Hollys – Yamanashi Gakuin OCTOBER EAGLES

From the beginning of the game, both teams showed hard offense and defense and the game became a seesaw match.
31st min: Ritumeikan exploited a Yamanashi DF’s gap and #9 Ohashi slot the rebound of GK into a goal by his reversed shot.
In the 2nd half, the game saw the same situation as the 1st half. Both teams attacked aggressively, but could not make a goal.
As both teams could not have an decisive chance, the game ended by 1-0 with Ritumeikan’s win.
