The Asian Hockey Confederation held its annual awards ceremony and Yuu Asai (Coca Cola Red Sparks) of the Japanese women’s field hockey team “Sakura Japan” won the “Best Player of the Year (Women’s)” award. The award ceremony was held at the Asian Hockey Confederation (AHFC) Hockey Hall of Fame.

The award ceremony was held in Mungyeong, Korea, where the Asian Hockey Confederation’s general meeting was held.
