Japan’s men’s national team, the Samurai Japan (World Ranking: WR16), improved to 3-1 (10 points) with a 2-1 win over Malaysia (WR13) in the fourth round of the 30th Sultan Azlan Shah Cup (2024/Ipoh) in Ipoh, Malaysia.
Japan’s point tally will now determine their place in the finals, where they will face Pakistan (WR15) before the fifth and final match of the qualifying round.
