The Japanese women’s national team, Sakura Japan (World Ranking: WR10), lost to China (WR8) 0-5 in the second round of the 33rd Olympic Games (2024/Paris) Hockey Competition in Paris, France.

The third game will be played against Belgium (WR4) on August 1 at 00:00 (Japan time, July 31 at 24:00 midnight).
