Game Outline
The Champions Challenge hosted by FIH is an international competition whose purpose is to develop hockey techniques at a world class level among national teams who rank 7th to 12nd in the world. Biennial Champions Challenge started in 2001 and since 2011, it has been held 2 years in a row. A champion team is qualified for next Champions Trophy’s participation. Participation of Japan men’s national team is their 2nd straight and their 4th overall.

After the 1st round by 2 groups, the final round is conducted based on the rank in the 1st round. There will be also the 3rd to 7th placed matches. |
