The Japanese U21 Women’s Junior National Team (World Ranking: WR11) lost to Korea (WR9) 1-1 (SO 2-3) in the 3rd place match at the 9th AHF Junior Asian Cup (2024/Muscat) in Muscat, Oman, finishing 4th in the tournament.

Japan qualified for the Junior World Cup by finishing in 5th place.

Japan’s #5 DF Hanami Saito (Yamanashi Gakuin University) was selected as the Rising Star of the Tournament.
