Candidates to represent Japan in 17th Asian Games (Incheon/Korea)
This time, we announce the members of 17th Asian Games at Incheon in Korea. A champion team of this competition is qualified of 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympic. At present, Women’s national team ranks at 10th, and men’s national team ranks at 14th in the world. (Korea women 9th, men 8th in FIH World Ranking) In June, Sakura Japan drew the game with Korea by 1-1 in Women’s World Cup in Holland and last Asia Cup, they won China (world ranking 6th) and anticipated to win this Asian Games.
In addition, Samurai Japan lost the game with Korea in Men’s Champion Challenge in April, but they aim for a championship this time.
