Sakura Japan (Japan Women’s National Hockey Team) “Japan-Korea International Friendly Matches (2026/Tokyo & Gifu)” 1st Match (Training Match) Result [Japan 1-0 Korea]

The Japanese women’s national hockey team, “Sakura Japan” (World Ranking: 15th), defeated Korea (WR 18th) 1-0 in the opening match (training match) of the “Japan-Korea International Hockey Friendly Matches (2026/Tokyo-Gifu)” being held as part of the Tokyo Series (Shinagawa Ward, Tokyo).

The second match of the Tokyo Series (ticketed event) will be held on April 12 at 1:00 PM on the Main Pitch at Oi Hockey Stadium (Shinagawa Ward, Tokyo).

Following the match, a fan meet-and-greet event featuring the Japan Men’s National Hockey Team “Samurai Japan” is scheduled to take place from 5:00 PM. (Participation is limited to those with tickets for that day’s match (tentative).)
